Overview

About this bike

The addition of plus-sized tires just turned Scott's Genius 710 Plus from to;capableto; to to;conquering.to; The HMF carbon frame starts things off, it's light, stiff, and dialed. Next up, 27.5+ Syncros rims and 2.8-inch-wide Schwalbe tires deliver increased tire footprint, less tire deflection, and decreased tire pressure. What does that mean? Traction and control to scamper up impossible climbs, to corner harder and faster, and to float over trail chatter and loose rocks. The Genius is eager for the rough stuff too, with 150mm of Fox-controlled suspension to get you up, over, and through. Whatever lies ahead, SRAM's single chainring GX1 setup delivers with a super wide range 11-speed cassette and unbeatably snappy shifting. Shimano discs are the way to go and the SLX brakes on the Genius are incredible, with cool, confident stopping. And when it's time to get loose and charge hard, there's a RockShox Reverb dropper post waiting to get down.
