Overview
About this bike
Increase your trail smarts with Scott's Genius 740. This intelligent bike begins with an aluminum frame for a responsive platform that soars up climbs. The descents are taken care of by Fox’s 150mm 32 Float fork and Float Performance shock, which work beautifully with the tapered head tube and IDS SL rear thru axle for stiffness and erasing the bumps. Plus, adjusting the suspension's travel is effortless with Scott’s TwinLoc remote. On every ride, the Syncros 27.5-inch wheels are strong and playful, while still rocking the benefits of big-wheeled efficiency. And, a reliable Shimano Deore/XT drivetrain and powerful Shimano brakes show off just how smart this rig really is.
