Scott's Genius 930 is a super fun trail bike that floats up technical climbs and deftly tears down the other side. Its lightweight aluminum frame uses a tapered head tube and IDS SL rear dropouts for serious stiffness. But in order to get the downhill thrills, you’ve got to do a little climbing first. For that, Scott’s TwinLoc remote effortlessly adjusts the suspension between Lockout, Traction (90mm), and Descend (130mm) modes on the Fox Nude shock and Fox Float CTD fork to match the terrain you’re conquering. Adding to the capabilities is a Shimano 30-speed SLX/XT drivetrain, and impressive SLX disc brakes to deliver loads of control. Plus, Syncros’ smooth-rolling 29-inch wheels and components lend confidence on every ride.
