Overview

About this bike

Built for smaller rippers, Specialized's P.18 Amateur is ready for the park, street and dirt jumps. Its steel frame sports a Mid BB, integrated headset and a steel fork that are all designed for going big. The 18.5-inch top tube strikes the balance of maneuverability and stability, while the 3-piece tubular chromoly cranks, plastic pedals and a 1-piece saddle/post combo keep the weight down. Burly 36-spoke, 18-inch wheels with high-volume tires soften up your landings a bit and the 25/9 micro gearing is stiff, strong, light and doesn't get hung up on lips or coping.
