About this bike
Surly's Neck Romancer Pug is amazingly capable and amazingly black. The frame is built from chromoly with a fork to match, all wrapped up stealthily in subtle black-on-black. Created to be just a little more extreme than Surly's Pugsley, the Neck Romancer features Rolling Darryl rims to stretch the tire footprint just a little wider. The flotation and traction gained by using large volume, low-pressure tires can get you over and through otherwise unrideable terrain: ice, snow, sand, mud, wet rocks and roots. Powered by a Mr. Whirly Offset Double crank and Shimano SLX/Deore parts, this bike can go through nearly anything. If it wasn't for the solid Avid BB7's, you could call it unstoppable.
