About this bike
Surly's Pug Special Ops takes the term to;all terrain bicycleto; to a new, fantastically fun level. The Pug was created to go where normal mountain bikes flounder with nearly 4-inch-wide tires on 26-inch wheels. The flotation and traction gained by using large volume, low-pressure tires can get you over and through otherwise unrideable terrain: ice, snow, sand, mud, wet rocks and roots. The drivetrain is ready for anything, too, with Shimano SLX/LX derailleurs and a versatile Surly crankset. To help you master the most adverse conditions, you get tough, well-thought-out components including Shimano SLX disc brakes. And lets not forget what makes this Pug special: Magma paint, chrome rims and kit as well as tan sidewall tires.
