About this bike
From the innovative and twisted minds of Surly comes the Pugsley. The Pugsley was created to go where other bikes flounder with nearly 4-inch-wide tires on 26-inch rims. The flotation and traction gained by using large volume, low-pressure tires can get you over and through otherwise unrideable terrain: ice, snow, sand, mud, wet rocks and roots. The drivetrain is ready for anything, too, with Shimano Deore/SLX derailleurs and a burly TruVativ Hussefelt crankset. And to help you master the most adverse conditions, you get tough Pugsley-specific components and Avid BB7 mechanical-disc brakes.
