About this bike
Transition’s Smuggler is an aggressive, shorter-travel 29er that has a lot more pop, play, and plushness than the 115mm rear-travel suggests. Featuring a geometry with long, low, and slack numbers, you can push this bike hard while the 29er wheels and progressive Giddy Up suspension smooth out rough terrain. A 130mm RockShox Pike up front gives you confidence to dive hard into the chunder, while the short chainstays work with the RockShox Monarch rear shock to keep the bike agile, responsive and playful. The Smuggler 2 comes equipped with Shimano 10-speed gearing, rugged Race Face cranks, and Shimano’s powerful Deore brakes. • Integrated rubber chainstay protection • Collet-style main pivot hardware • Does not accept front derailleur • ISCG05 chainguide mounting • Syntace X12 rear 142mm axle and universal Transition derailleur hanger • Full-size water bottle fits inside front triangle • User-friendly 73mm threaded bottom bracket • Internal cable routing with stealth dropper post routing
