Trek's Sawyer celebrates Gary Fisher's 10th anniversary of designing 29ers. With head-turning retro styling and today's technology, the Sawyer is a blast to ride. Its chromoly frame and fork provide just enough suppleness, after all, it's classic steel, baby. The frame is versatile, too. The sliding rear dropouts makes rolling it singlespeed or even with a belt drive easy. Of course, Sawyer rocks G2 geometry that makes it lively and fun on any kind of trail at and all speeds. The solid mix of components were chosen for their reliability, durability and affordability, like the Shimano/SRAM gearing, TruVativ cranks and Bontrager wheels. Avid gives you its Elixir disc brakes and Bontrager fills in the rest of the spec. It's a nod to the past, while embracing the present.
