Overview
About this bike
Yeti found the sweet spot with 29-inch wheels and 4.5-inches of travel in the high-performance, trail-ready SB4.5 TURQ. Thanks to Switch Infinity suspension, the SB4.5 lets you push beyond what you think a 4.5-inch travel bike should do, encouraging fun through its lively ride qualities. From marathon XC pursuits to hot-laps on your local trails, the SB4.5's stiff carbon frame, short chainstays, and comfortably slack head angle work together to put you in the best position for sprinting up climbs and railing descents with confidence. The TURQ Shimano XT build features Shimano's rock-solid XT drivetrain paired to XT brakes for unflinching shifting and braking performance. Fox Factory suspension components give you buttery transitions throughout the stroke, and a Fox Transfer dropper seatpost aids your aggressive antics with instant response. Light and durable 29-inch DT Swiss wheels paired to Maxxis Ardent tubeless tires offer precise control when picking your way through the rock gardens at speed, giving you more momentum to get up, down, and over everything that comes your way. More momentum equals less effort, and less effort means bigger grins. We'll call that a win.
