Its efficient Integrated Skeleton Concept aluminum frame and fork are built light and tough to easily scale steep city streets and survive the perils of the concrete jungle. Great for commuting, the Urbanchallenge has a Shimano Alfine internally geared drivetrain with a Gates Carbon Belt Drive system that's virtually maintenance-free and works flawlessly in all weather. The rest of the bike is practically impervious to weather, too, with sweet parts like Shimano disc brakes, Schwalbe tires with reflective sidewalls, and fenders that keep road grime in its place: on the road, not on you.
