With a frame tipping the scales at just over 800 grams, Cervelo's R3 SL is light enough to be the ultimate super-light climbing machine, yet stiff enough to meet Cervelo's demanding racing and durability standards. The ride-tuned frame features Cervelo's efficient Squoval (square/oval shaped) tubes and oversize bottom bracket to resist lateral bending forces which waste your energy. When you combine these refined tubes with Smartwall optimization that adds carbon where it's needed most, the result is a bike that rockets forward whether it's powered by soft pedaling or by the mega wattage of the pro peloton's strongest riders. Comfort is achieved with ultra thin seatstays that absorb road vibrations yet still provide a lively ride. Plus, the R3 SL comes with a 3T carbon fork, bar, seatpost, and aluminum stem, SRAM's pro-worthy Red group with fast Fulcrum wheels so that you can finish off any race with corner-carving precision and a winning sprint across the line.
