Overview
About this bike
Cervelo sets a new standard with their almost unbelievable road rocket, the R5 VWD. The frame meets Cervelo's demanding strength and durability standards while tipping the scales right around 700 grams! Out on the road, Cervelo's stiff Squoval (square/oval shaped) tubes and BBright bottom bracket channel all your pedal power to the pavement. When you combine these refined tubes with Smartwall optimization that adds carbon where it's needed most, you get a bike that shoots forward whether it's powered by soft pedaling or by the mega wattage of the pro peloton's strongest riders. And for comfort, the ultra-thin seatstays absorb road vibrations while also providing a lively ride. Plus, the R5 comes with a stiff tapered Cervelo carbon fork, a fast set of Fulcrum Racing T wheels, Campagnolo's Tour-proven Super Record 11-speed component group, and 3T's LTD bar, stem, and seatpost to maximize your podium potential.
