A resilient, smooth-riding Reynolds 725 steel frame soaks up less-than-perfect terrain, and a pair of Velocity/DT Swiss wheels with meaty 27.5 x 2 Schwalbe tires provide traction and cushion when your map leads you down the road less traveled. When you've got to stop on a dime there's a pair of TRP Spyre dual-piston disc brakes. The frame is decked out with the options that long-distance tourists need, like full front and rear rack eyelets, fender mounts, and three sets of bottle bosses. A trek-worthy triple drivetrain features an FSA crank and Shimano XT rear derailleur, and you get your choice of Shimano Dura-Ace bar-end shifters, or Ultegra STI shifters. And, high-mileage adventure is the order of the day with a supportive Selle Italia Nekkar Flow saddle and an FSA cockpit.
