About this bike
To create the ultimate cyclocross machine, Fuji turned to their penultimate Grand Tour road bike for inspiration; the result was the Altamira CX 1.1. Its Fuji C10 ultra high-modulus carbon is incredibly light, torsionally rigid, and surprisingly compliant for your 60 minutes of all-out guts and glory. And, with a BB86 bottom bracket and a tapered carbon fork, Fuji provides the stable, precise handling needed when you're pushing your limit. And push you will, with the CX's fine SRAM Red 22 drivetrain shifting through the gears with ease and the Red hydraulic discs controlling your speed. Plus, you'll fly on the ultralight Oval Concepts carbon tubular wheels with Challenge tires that slice through even the tackiest peanut-butter mud you'll come across and roll right over even the roughest courses. And, with mud and grime in mind, the Altamira CX features internal cable routing so you can spend less time cleaning, and more time riding. You also get a great bar, stem, post and saddle from Oval Concepts.
