About this bike
The Renegade is ready for any adventure, no matter which Renegade you ride. The long and tall adventure geometry is designed specifically to ride comfortably all day on the road or in harsh conditions off-road. With disc brakes and the ability to mount multiple tire sizes, these bikes are ready to go just about anywhere. All you need is the desire to push, pedal, and explore. Designed to handle rough gravel, fire roads, or even some singletrack, the Renegade Explore is a capable adventure steed. It features a lightweight aluminum frame with fender eyelets and 3 water bottle mounts, paired with a full carbon fork with mid-blade eyelets for additional water bottle or gear mounting options. Shift and brake cables are routed above the top tube, reducing exposure to wet or muddy road spray. A Shimano Sora drivetrain provides reliable shifting along with the increased gear range advantage of a wide 11-34 cassette, while all-weather braking power is handled by Tektro Lyra mechanical disc brakes. The Ritchey Evomax Comp handlebars flare outwards at the drops, which provides a wide arm stance for greater control and stability on rough surfaces, or when fatigue starts to set in towards the later stages of a really long ride.
