About this bike
Whether it's the Four Corners of the world, or just all over your town, Marin's slick touring bike will take you there. The frame is chromoly, of course, it's the gold standard for touring. It's strong, reasonably light, rides beautifully, and on the rare chance that you damage it in some far-off destination, it can be easily repaired by any local with a torch. Of course, the frame has plenty of eyelets for fenders and full racks. If you choose to go fully loaded, you'll dig the wide, puncture-resistant tires and the 27-speed drivetrain with low gearing. It'll get you up practically any hill in the world while carrying full panniers. The wheels have 36 spokes each for extra durability and you've got bar-end shifters-renown for their ability to simply work in all conditions mile after mile.
