The emergence and rapid advance of disc brake technology has proven to be a game-changer in the cycling world. The superlight hand-made carbon frame features the same engineering, design, and geometry that makes the rim-brake Altum a class-leader, but with a modular rear dropout that accepts QR135 or thru-axle 142mm wheels. Up front, it has a specially built fork designed for the greater forces of disc brakes and features a 12mm thru axle for added stiffness and steering precision. Its DT Swiss C 1800 Spline wheels accelerate quickly and maintain trueness even on rough roads, and they feature a wider profile to offer greater traction and a smoother aerodynamic profile. Outfitted with a Shimano Ultegra drivetrain, Altum shifts with smooth precision and delivers on Ultegra’s promise of longevity. Ultegra disc brakes offer incredible power and all-weather stopping resiliency to give you peace of mind on every ride.
