Overview

About this bike

Colossal might seem like a funny name for a normal-size bicycle, until you realize that Salsa's referring to the enormous fun that you'll experience on every ride on your Colossal Ti. It could also refer to the mega miles you'll rack up on this awesome Salsa seamless, double-butted 3Al/2.5V-titanium beauty. Titanium is a magic metal with excellent pedaling efficiency, sweet vibration damping for comfort and amazing durability with zero corrosion issues - ever. The Colossal Ti's phenomenal ride is complemented with a PressFit30 bottom bracket and up front, ENVE's lauded carbon fork leads the way with a tapered steerer to optimize the Colossal's stable, slightly racy geometry and vibration damping to smooth the miles. The components are ready for action, too, with a fine set of DT Swiss/Stan's NoTubes wheels and a wide-range full-Shimano Ultegra 22-speed drivetrain to flatten the hills. You'll also love the Avid BB7SL disc brakes for keeping your speed in control in all conditions, while the Salsa bars, Thomson Elite stem and seatpost and fine WTB seat keep you clicking off the miles, taking in the scenery, challenging yourself and discovering new terrain in style!
