Cutthroat brings speed to the mixed surface, ultra-endurance bikepacking race scene. Every aspect was designed to obliterate long-distance cycling route records. An evolutionary leap in all-road bikes, Cutthroat lets you ride long, hard, and fast in comfort. The full-carbon frame delivers race-winning efficiency and offers Salsa’s Class 5 Vibration Reduction System to reduce energy-robbing trail chatter. Salsa added a RockShox Reba 100mm fork to reduce arm fatigue and expand the already capable Cutthroat’s gamut of performance. The WTB i23 rims and Maxxis Ikon tires fly on fire roads and stand up to hours-on-end punishment, all while keeping rolling resistance and rotating weight down so you can keep pushing. The Cutthroat’s SRAM Apex 1x11 drivetrain offers secure, streamlined efficiency with a wide gear range shifted by SRAM’s crisp DoubleTap shifting to maintain speed and momentum in widely variable terrain. And, Tektro Spyre C disc brakes deliver excellent stopping power with a lightweight design and quick field serviceability for emergency adjustments and repairs anywhere with minimal downtime.
