The SCOTT Contessa Addict 15 Disc comes equipped with an HMF Carbon Fiber frame and fork that weigh in at just 925/380g. Throw in a Shimano Ultegra drivetrain along with a compilation of other high-end components and you have one extremely strong and light bike that is ready for the mountains. At the core of the Contessa Addict 15 Disc is a carbon frame with a sporty appearance that hides its all-road pedigree. The stock 700 x 32c tires provide enough extra volume to smooth out rough roads and help stave off fatigue on epic rides, yet still have the efficiency to yield a road bike feel. The front brake cable routes internally through the fork, while the rear brake and shift cables pass cleanly into the headtube. Shifting is handled with Shimano's excellent Ultegra drivetrain, while the matching Ultegra flat mount disc brakes provide plenty of stopping power – keeping you in control no matter the conditions. Syncros RP2.0 disc wheels feature DT Swiss' proven star ratchet system, thru axles for added stiffness and an alloy rim that offers a great balance of light weight, aerodynamics, and handling. Schwalbe Durano folding bead tires feature RaceGuard protection to help prevent punctures and a dual compound tread for greater durability and improved grip even on wet roads. A Syncros carbon handlebar and seatpost help keep the weight down as well as provide additional compliance at the rider's contact points, crucial for long days in the saddle.
