The SCOTT Metrix features a Carbon frame and sporty features. Out in the hills or on your way to work, the Metrix 10 Disc will keep you fit and healthy. The frame's endurance geometry puts the rider in a comfortable upright position, ideal staying aware of traffic and everything else going on around you. A lightweight carbon fork has a tapered steerer that increases the front-end stiffness for more responsive and predictable handling. The shifter and rear brake cables are routed internally, passing neatly into the headtube for a clean look and for protection from the elements. A Shimano 105 drivetrain provides reliably accurate shifting, with easy to use trigger shifters and a wide, 11-32 cassette. Shimano flat mount hydraulic disc brakes offer loads of stopping power, putting the rider in control even in wet conditions. Syncros Race rims on Formula Team center lock hubs results in a strong and lightweight wheel, while the Schwalbe Durano tires offer a smooth, supple ride with their 32mm width. A carbon seatpost helps keep the weight down, contributes to a smoother ride, and features a simple 2-bolt design for convenient saddle adjustments.
