The light and peppy aluminum frame was made for cruising city streets, and the heads-up riding position provides a great perspective through traffic. A sturdy pair of aluminum wheels are wrapped in commuter tough Schwalbe tires. And shifting is easier than you thought possible with a Shimano Nexus 8-speed internally geared hub under your control. Eight wide-range gears shift quickly and silently, even when you're at a complete stop, and since the gears are tucked inside the hub the mess and maintenance of a traditional derailleur disappear. Powerful linear brakes are under your fingertips and a collection of high-quality Marin components round out the SC2 IG's build spec.
