About this bike
What’s the deal with these “plus-size” bikes? In a nutshell, we’re talking about bigger tires. Diamondback's Mason hardtails always had a yen for tackling rough, suspension-bike terrain...adding plus-size tires to the Mason made immediate sense. The result is a hard-charging hardtail that plows through the rough, yet remains fun and flickable. The Mason 1+ gets the job done with a rugged, wide-range Shimano drivetrain, powerful mechanical disc brakes and a coil-spring SR Suntour fork with 120mm of suspension travel. Take the trail less traveled? Sure. But with the Mason 1+ you can absolutely rip the trail less traveled.
