Dirt jumping 101: Try it, crash. Try it again, land it. GT's Ruckus DX features a beefy 6061-aluminum frame with dialed dirt-jump geometry and a Marzocchi 100mm-travel fork. Burly wheels made of WTB freeride rims laced to through-axle hubs are tough enough so bad landings don't ruin your day. More components worthy of big air include FSA cranks with a bash guard and chain guide, Hayes Stroker hydraulic disc brakes, Kenda Hans Rey tires and Pivotal's saddle and seatpost system. Giving you enough gears to pedal into those hard lines is a SRAM X-7 drivetrain while an FSA Gravity Maximus handlebar steers you in the right direction.
