About this bike
The Sanction is GT's answer to new-school rippers who still need gears for Super-D racing, freeriders who pedal to play and aggressive all-mountain types. With an optimized blend of DH and pedal-friendly geometry and 150mm of I-Drive/Fox travel in the rear, the Sanction is fully capable of going up and down, as well as over and off pretty much anything. Fox's 160mm Float fork up front gives you gobs of plush travel and serious stiffness so you can point and shoot the toughest lines on the mountain. DT Swiss wheels spin quick and handle the toughest hits, and Maxxis Ardents grip hard on any surface. The bash-guard-equipped 2x10 Shimano drivetrain is dialed for the trail's ups and downs, while the ultra-powerful Formula discs, wide Funn handlebars and RockShox Reverb dropper post let you keep it pinned on the rowdiest trails.
