About this bike
In enduro events, you win the race based on your total descent time over multiple stages, so the logic of building GT's Sanction enduro bike based on a championship-winning gravity bike was obvious. With a weight saving tube set inspired by the Fury's design and 165mm of travel, the Sanction is a winning recipe. The young enduro phenom Martin Maes had tremendous input into the Sanction's design and the resulting ride qualities. The Sanction Pro devours technical descents with a Fox Performance Elite 36 fork and Fox Performance Elite Float DPX2 shock that team up to provide highly adjustable suspension dynamics for race-day fine-tuning. The Schwalbe Magic Mary tires keep you on your line, and they're wrapped around Stan’s Flow S1 rims for hit-taking durability and flawless tubeless setup, all with remarkable low weight. Shimano’s XT/SLX drivetrain has the range and precision to handle enduro, powered by you and a Race Face crankset to push ahead of the pack. But, you still need control to make it down each stage, and Shimano ZEE brakes are there to make sure your stopping distance is as short as your stage splits. Enduro demands a dynamic machine, and the Sanction has what it takes to master the entire mountain.
