Overview

About this bike

Freakishly fast, Jamis’ Dakar XCR 29 Pro will leave all your previous expectations back with the dropped riders behind you. A lightweight carbon frame makes use of a tapered head tube and asymmetrical chainstays to achieve an optimal strength-to-weight ratio. Jamis’ mp4 rear suspension and 100mm of Fox Float travel is carefully balanced in the front by a 100mm Fox Float CTD fork. Front and rear through-axles increase stiffness and steering control so you can rip the corners. Tubeless-ready Mavic rims with Geax Saguaro tires offer minimal rolling resistance and large contact surfaces, making loose, blown-out climbs a walk in the park. Shimano disc brakes and an XT/SLX 20-speed drivetrain gives you ultimate control over the terrain. Finally, a collection of Ritchey components are just as fast as the rest of this expectation-raising rig.
