Overview

About this bike

Efficiency is the cornerstone of any fast ride, and Jamis' Dakar XCR 29 Sport gives you everything you need and nothing you don’t. The lightweight triple-butted aluminum frame features Jamis' 100mm-travel mp4 suspension system and a 142 x 12mm rear through-axle, so pedaling force is delivered directly to the trail even when you’re battling the technical sections. RockShox’ XC32 fork has 100mm of travel to take the sting out of tree roots and keep the front end on track. Plus, the Dakar boasts reliable Shimano Alivio 9-speed shifting, 29-inch Mavic rims and Shimano discs so you can fly down mountains with total confidence. A WTB Volt Sport saddle and Ritchey’s seatpost ensure comfort and low weight.
