Overview

About this bike

Racing isn’t for everyone, but for some it is everything—even if it's only on Strava. Whatever drives you to grab a number plate and join the fray, Kona’s Hei Hei is prepared to get you to the finish line ahead of your competition. Its butted aluminum frame and RockShox Monarch RL shock gives you 100mm of rear travel, while a 120mm-travel RockShox fork floats across rock gardens. The wide, lightweight 29-inch WTB wheels fly up climbs and optimize the traction of the Maxxis Ardent and Ikon tires so you can fly through the flow and grip with confidence in loose corners. Shimano and RaceFace serve up eleven nicely spaced speeds with outstanding 1x chain retention. Shimano also provides hydraulic brakes that deliver the well-modulated braking you need to carry more speed more of the time. With the stiff 35mm Kona controls and a KS dropper post, you'll blow right past your buddy's fastest Strava time.
