Overview

About this bike

The streets can be mean, so be mean right back at them with Kona's chromoly Shonky. Its snappy frame is made for slaying the dirt jumps, smoothing out the pump track, prowling the urban landscape and ruling the 4-cross course. It takes the undeniable awesomeness of chromoly and adds an 80mm Marzocchi Dirt Jumper fork, which has just enough travel to butter the landings. The geometry is dialed, too: super-low top tube, slack head angle and tight chainstays. All this makes for a bike that's flickable, manuals easily, and feels stable in the air and on the ground. Plus, the Shonky sports BMX-style cranks and an uncomplicated singlespeed drivetrain so you can concentrate on landing the next trick.
