If you're looking to hit big gaps in the park or keeping it pinned between the tape on the DH course, get on Norco's Aurum 6.2. This gravity-fueled monster uses all of Norco's black magic like hydroformed tubes, a 157x12mm rear end, a tapered head tube, and their Holloform linkage. The geometry is low, long and right, brilliant at wide-open speed, while staying maneuverable at slow, techy stuff as well. Leading the way down is a 200mm Boxxer up front, and a RockShox Kage coil out back for 200mm of root-taming, rock-crushing A.R.T. suspension. To keep you rallying, you get legit Sun rims shod in terrain-trouncing Maxxis Minion rubber, solid Shimano Zee gearing and brakes, and a Spank bar and direct mount stem. The Aurum - Latin for “gold” - earned its name by turning the most challenging terrain features into advantages over other riders. Throw a leg over one and you’ll understand.
