How do you take something known for its incredible ride, weight, and stiffness and make it better? Building it from carbon usually does the trick. Pivot's Mach 429 Carbon rocks a light, stiff carbon frame and dw-link suspension to give you unrivaled climbing traction and bob-free acceleration. And this thing is seriously stiff, too, with a 92mm-wide BB, stout 142x12mm rear through-axle, tapered head tube and a 1-piece carbon rocker, all of which combine for a bike that responds and corners like a dream. The spec is just as focused. Full Shimano XTR 2x11 graces this kit along with a 120mm Kashima Coated Fox 32 Float fork and tubeless DT Swiss wheels wrapped in Maxxis rubber.
