Using a blend of high-end carbon tech, and Pivot's well-refined manufacturing mastery, they managed to create a bike that defies expectations. The dw-link gives you World Cup-level efficiency, instant acceleration, and unparalleled climbing traction. Then on the downs, the 100mm suspension performs like a longer travel bike, for an incredibly capable ride in technical terrain for Strava record-defying descents. Of course, all the Pivot frame details are there: a 142 x 12mm rear end, full internal cable routing—including stealth dropper routing—as well as rubberized frame armor, Enduro Max bearings on all pivots, and a 92mm BB. The SL goes a step further and rocks Shimano's electronic XTR Di2 2 x 11 drivetrain for the cleanest, most optimized frame out there. Plus, a 120mm-travel Fox 32 Float fork and Float CTD shock, DT Swiss wheels, and a carbon bar and post complete this perfect XC machine.
