Overview
About this bike
Pivot’s Mach 429 SL is the short-travel 29er you want for ultimate power transfer, efficiency, and technical trail mastery. On climbs, you'll benefit from the latest in dw-link suspension design with a Fox Float DPS Kashima Factory shock that's performance-tuned specifically for the Mach 429SL. On the trip back down, the 100mm dw-link suspension performs like a longer travel bike, especially when combined with the precision of a 12x148mm rear end and the rollover qualities of 29-inch wheels, giving you the advantage in technical terrain and inspiring record-setting descents. The Mach 429SL Race XT 1x build features Shimano's lightweight, dependable 1x11 drivetrain paired to Shimano Deore hydraulic disc brakes for maximum speed control. And for the plushest ride with all-terrain versatility, a Fox 34 Performance 120mm fork leads the way to victory.
