Once you get to the top and point it downhill, the 5.7 Carbon really shines. Its 145mm of plush Fox travel, tapered head tube, 142x12 rear through-axle and dialed geometry all combine to let you slice and dice corners and sail confidently down the rowdiest tech sections. Up front, a 150mm Fox fork gives you point-and-shoot steering precision and silky travel. And, Shimano throws in a 3x10 SLX/XT group spinning Sun RinglÉ wheels that are hauled down by Magura discs. An FSA bar, stem and post complete the build.
