Rocky's Altitude 70 is a 140mm-travel bike weighing in at 28 pounds that can actually pedal up to the top of anything you wish to rail down. In a why-didn't-anyone-think-of-this-before moment, the seat angle is a steep 76 degrees that slackens as you sag into the suspension for climbing prowess that even makes hardtail riders envious. Then, the slack 69-degree head angle takes over on the descent for the real fun. And the specs are the real deal: XT/XTR gears, Race Face cranks and controls, Mavic/XT wheels and perhaps most importantly, a Fox Float fork and shock. Up, down and all around, the Altitude takes you to new heights.
