About this bike
Climbs like a cross country bike, descends like an all-mountain bike — Rocky Mountain's Altitude 770 MSL is the definition of a one-bike quiver. Built from Smoothwall carbon around Rocky Mountain's Ride-9 adjustable geometry, the Altitude owns every section of trail. Up and down, with the 150mm of remote-controlled SmoothLink rear suspension and a 150mm Fox 34 CTD fork, traction is can found everywhere, and every hit from braking bumps to full-compression slammers are handled with expertise. The rest of the build kit is just as capable. A Shimano/SRAM 2x10 drivetrain is spun by Race Face cranks and a wide Race Face bar with stubby stem gives you plenty of leverage to finesse it through techy sections. With the stout 27.5-inch wheels, meaty tires, Reverb dropper post and renowned XT discs, you'll rip trails like it's your job.
