About this bike
Climbs like a cross country bike, descends like an enduro bike — Rocky Mountain's Altitude 770 MSL takes that well-worn cliche into reality. Built from Smoothwall carbon around Rocky Mountain's Ride-9 adjustable geometry, the Altitude owns every section of trail. Up and down, with the 150mm of remote-controlled SmoothLink rear suspension and a 160mm Fox 34 CTD fork, traction is found everywhere, and every hit from braking bumps to full-compression slammers are handled with expertise. More expertise comes from the rest of the build kit. A 1x11 Shimano XT drivetrain is spun by Race Face cranks and a wide Race Face bar with stubby stem gives you plenty of leverage to wring this rig through techy sections. With the stout 27.5-inch wheels, a proper Maxxis Minion/Ardent tire set up, Reverb dropper post, and renowned XT discs, you'll soon see the cliche can be a reality.
