Overview

About this bike

Rocky Mountain's Slayer 50 tears through rock gardens, flows through tight turns and climbs right alongside your friends on their little XC rigs. This trail-dominating machine features 165mm of suspension and stiff triple-butted aluminum frame tubes to ensure you leave nothing but slayed trail in your wake. Technical, grinding ascents are no match for the 75 degree seat tube angle and SmoothLink suspension that pedals exceptionally well while still maintaining awesome traction. Even though it climbs very well, where the Slayer truly shines is on the way down. It's built with components that want to send it big and fast. Fox handles the suspension with a 160mm travel fork and RP23 rear shock. The 2x9 SRAM drivetrain boasts Race Face cranks with a bash guard, and everything rolls on DT Swiss wheels while Formula brakes ensure you stay in control all descent long.
