About this bike
Salsa's Horsethief 2 is ready to show you a whole new side of off-road capability. If you like to experience new trails, this is your bike. Extremely capable and confidence inspiring, its frame tackles aggressive, big-mountain terrain with ease thanks to a plush 120mm of travel and active Split Pivot rear suspension. Built with short chain stays, a long top tube, wide bars, and a short stem, this bike is a blast to ride down the mountain, railing corners with ease. Components include a tapered Fox Float 29 CTD Evolution fork up front and a Fox CTD Performance shock soaking up the bumps in the back. Shimano's Deore drivetrain ensures your shifting is spot on and Shimano Deore hydraulic disc brakes bring the speed back down. Plus, Stan's tubeless-ready 29er rims with wide Schwalbe tires and Shimano SLX hubs ensure that you'll keep the rubber side down. Salsa included a great selection of their own high-quality components and a WTB saddle to ensure you stay comfortable on your next epic ride.
