The Genius eRIDE is a pedal-assist game changer. With the Shimano STEPS system and modern geometry, you can explore the mountains like you never have before. The TwinLoc system allows you to not only change compression dampening but also to change the spring curve, dynamically altering the geometry of the bike. This allows you to have the most efficient bike handling in any riding situation, which is even more valuable with the extra weight of an E-Bike. With the steps E-8000 series, Shimano delivers next-level component integration, connectivity, and performance. To meet MTB specific needs, the E-8000 series was designed with all day riding in mind. The Lithium-Ion battery has a 500WH capacity that can be charged up to 80% in only 2.5 hours. It features a low-profile drive system, specifically designed for mountain bikes, which improves both impact and vibration resistance. The compact design allows for shorter chain stays and more tire clearance, and its low weight substantially improves handling and ride feel. You can switch between 3 assist modes: ECO, TRAIL, and BOOST, using levers that were designed for mountain bikes to offer a similar feel to that of a gear shifter. The Genius eRide 900 features a lightweight aluminum frame with a tapered headtube, boost spacing, and internal routing. The Fox Float 36 with Kashima coating and Fox Nude TR Evol rear shock provide 150mm of trail-taming suspension. A Shimano XT STEPS crankset is paired with SRAM X01 Eagle rear derailleur and GX shifter, for an accurate and reliable 12-speed drivetrain. DT Swiss H1825 Spline wheels are light, stiff, and built for the extra demands of an e-MTB. They come mounted with a perfect combo of Schwalbe Magic Mary front and Hans Dampf rear tires. Completing the performance package, a Fox Transfer dropper post with Kashima coating increases this bike's aggressive abilities, while a 740mm Syncros carbon bar adds extra stiffness to the front end.
