Specialized's Epic Marathon Carbon 29 stands above lesser bikes with a carbon frame sporting 100mm of Specialized's world-renowned, Brain-controlled FSR rear suspension. It serves up hardtail-like efficiency on smooth sections and fully active, plush travel on technical terrain. Nothing is too good for this bike: a 100mm SID with a Brain, full XO gearing with svelte carbon cranks and a saddle with titanium rails. And, Magura discs slow the carbon Roval wheels down with ease. Plus, the Marathon is spec'd with carbon bars and a sweet selection of Specialized's aluminum components as well as their trail-hugging tubeless-ready tires, too.
