About this bike
Specialized's Vintage Stumpjumper Classic is an almost exact replica of Specialized's first Stumpjumper, which is arguably the bike that kick-started the sport of mountain biking. This new retro rig offers a classic ride with a Tange chromoly frameset with a relaxed design for awesome comfort and control on road and off. Plus, even the wheels match the original Stumpjumper with wide aluminum rims and Specialized's Classic Ground Control tires. And, you do get several upgrades over the off-roaders of yesteryear, such as Shimano's high-tech Deore XT crankset and the Shimano Deore XT/SRAM X.O drivetrain, which shifts like a dream.
