About this bike
The premise behind the AS-R 7 was simple: take Yeti's sick-fast 575 bike and bump up the travel. Thanks to the fully hydroformed aluminum frame, carbon dogbone link and Fox RP23 shock, this 7-inch ripper is capable on the climbs, but it's the descent where the AS-R 7 really shines. Up front, Fox renowned 36 Float fork takes care of whatever you need it to. The SLX/XTR gearing and Mavic wheels are the perfect match for this bike: light, tough and able to do it all. The XT discs are some of the best around, too, with an ergonomic, comfortable lever and serious stopping power and precise modulation. It doesn't stop there, check out the Thomson stem and post, the slick cable stops for a seatpost dropper and custom 12mm rear through-axle. With all this you have the tools to take on any trail without thinking twice about it.
