About this bike
Built for pure speed, Yeti's AS-R Carbon is the perfect tool for speed-hungry racers and XC trail riders. It boasts a carbon frame with titanium hardware that weighs a scant 4.4 pounds, which doesn't seem crazy light until you factor in the integrated seat mast and aluminum seat clamp. The seat mast really stiffens up the whole chassis so this thing jumps when you crank. The AS-R also throws down 98mm of efficient, trail-shredding travel delivered by Fox's benchmark RP23 shock in back and their precision F100 RLC fork up front. The slacker head angle is a rare departure from quick XC-race geometry, and it makes it an incredibly stable descender. So now you can crush your competition and buddies both up and down! And this Pro build is up to the task with a full XTR group, a Chris King headset, carbon Easton bar and a Thomson stem.
