About this bike
Sitting 9,045 feet above sea level, the Stelvio Pass is Italy's highest. It strikes fear into the heart of cyclists with 48 switchbacks and an average grade of 7.4%. Good thing there's Marin's carbon wonder bike, the Stelvio Dura Ace. It's a full monocoque frame with an oversized down tube, a tapered head tube and a ceramic bearing BB30 bottom bracket to stiffen the entire frame up for explosive acceleration at the slightest of weight. With all this stiffness, you'd better have the best hardware to back you up. That's why the Stelvio is equipped with Dura-Ace shifting and braking and carbon FSA cranks to level the field when the road turns upward. To further help you on your way to climbing supremacy, you've got Mavic Ksyrium SL wheels and FSA's carbon bar and seatpost. Don't forget to take pictures at the summit.
