Need to quell some major wanderlust? Salsa's Fargo is the answer. It's a disc brake, drop bar mountain bike designed for fully-loaded touring. It boasts Salsa's super-strong Kung Fu chromoly frame and fork with burly 29-inch wheels to create a one-of-a-kind workhorse that's ready to conquer any route. The sloped top tube allows plenty of standover clearance for those fully-loaded starts and stops. A full host of braze-ons allow for front and rear racks, a set of fenders and a ton of water bottle cage mounts. You've got gobs of tire clearance, too: run pavement friendly 700c x 35mm rubber on the Alex hoops, or throw on some big 29 x 2.4 tires and go off road. Plus, you'll love the 27-speed Shimano drivetrain for even the most daunting of climbs and Avid's disc brakes for the way down.
