About this bike
Owning a Major Jake is a way of paying homage to cyclocross racing history. So much practical, race-winning experience has gone into the creation of the Major, it practically knows its way to the podium. This full-carbon, 2.2-pound, World Cup-ready frame is paired with a stiff carbon Kona Cross fork for minimal weight, quick handling, blistering acceleration and maximum control. A BB30 bottom bracket and a tapered steerer don't hurt that either. Plus, this speedster boasts light tubeless Ultegra wheels and 35c Maxxis tires that prove its mud-ready worthiness. The rest of the components on this quick machine are ready to race, too. It's equipped with FSA 46/36 cranks, Shimano Ultegra shifting and Avid Shorty cantis that keep you charging hard no matter how rough, steep, muddy or snowy the course is.
