About this bike
Trek enlisted multiple World Cup-winning Katie Compton to design the ultimate 'cross racing bike. The result is the Boone 9, a bike with 'cross-specific features like plenty of mud clearance, exceptional race geometry, a chain keeper, internal cable routing, and an easily shouldered top tube. The OCLV carbon frame and E2 carbon fork is, of course stiff and precise, yet Trek’s innovative IsoSpeed decoupler adds comfort and compliance to every ride. Combine that with the buttery-smooth shifting of 11-speed Ultegra, a carbon bar and seatmast cap, a Ti-railed saddle, as well as tubeless-ready Bontrager Race Lite wheels with fat tires and you're ready to get muddy.
